In support to the annual celebration of the World Water Day with the local theme ‘Bayanihan sa Katubigan, Krisis sa Klima Labanan”’, the Zonta Club Central Tuguegarao(ZCCT) and Tuguegarao City Moog ng Agila Eagle’s Club in partnership with the Metropolitan Tuguegarao Water District (MTWD) participate in the simultaneous tree growing activity, today, March 15, 2025 at the Zonta rehabilitation project site and a designated area within the MTWD maintained watershed at Barangay Sisim, Peñablanca, Cagayan.

MTWD, ZCCT and Tuguegarao City Moog ng Agila Eagle’s Club have planted a total number of 1,712 variety of seedlings such as narra, duhat, fringon, tindalo and ipil.
This endeavor is a testament to the continuing commitment of MTWD and its partners in rehabilitating the maintained watershed area and its advocacy in promoting environmental preservation and sustainability.
The MTWD management under the leadership of General Manager Engr. Miller C. Tanguilan, CESE would like to express its profound gratitude to its partner organizations for continually supporting the mandate of the District- the provision of water supply 24/7 and its great role in safeguarding the MTWD maintained watershed area.
