The Metropolitan Tuguegarao Water District (MTWD) Logo signifies its 40 glorious years of existence as a reliable water system in the region. The embossed MTWD letters embodies the responsibility of the District in carrying out the mandate prescribed by the existing rules and regulations and signifies its true commitment in serving the public interest without reservations.

It is composed of elements which show that the agency is governed with Vision, Mission, and Core Values that carries a theme, “Sourcing water, Shaping lives”.

The three buildings signify the rising progress of the agency in embracing constructive thought and in giving attention to the various sectors of the community. The two towns and one city of Cagayan namely Solana, Piat and Tuguegarao City depicts the meaning and essence of the word “Metropolitan.”

The sun symbolizes light that reminds the agency of its responsibility to the public it serves. The color yellow that surrounds it shows the adequate, reliable and potable water supply that Metropolitan Tuguegarao Water District continually provides to its concessionaires.

The water droplet with leaves symbolizes that the agency is an instrument in rendering excellent and responsive customer service with the highest degree of professionalism and competence.

The green and blue shape below the buildings and the sun represent nature and water respectively. It shows that we get our water supply from our environment and in return, we take care of our environment through responsible use, continuous rehabilitation and preservation of our springs and through implementation of programs that will ensure the protection of our water sources. The color green means the unceasing vigilance directed to the protection of water quality. The blue color connotes unrelenting dedication and commitment of its workforce in consistently catering the welfare of the public we serve.
