The Metropolitan Tuguegarao Water District (MTWD) held an induction and oath-taking ceremony for Dir. Fausta L. Tanguilan, who has been reappointed to the Board of Directors as a representative of the Civic Sector. This significant event took place on January 6, 2025, at the MTWD Building, with the oath administered by Dir. Teresita R. Rios, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors. The ceremony was attended by fellow members of the Board, General Manager Engr. Miller C. Tanguilan, CESE, and members of the management.

This occasion signifies the commencement of another six-year term which will extend from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2030.

Dir. Tanguilan is a licensed civil engineer and an active member of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. (PICE). She possesses extensive experience as a private practitioner and worked with various government agencies prior to her tenure at the Metropolitan Tuguegarao Water District, which began in 1999. Last year, she was recognized by the Philippine Association of Water Districts for her 25 years of dedicated service to MTWD.

Additionally, she is a bona fide member of Tuguegarao Court No. 32, Order of the Amaranth, a civic organization committed to community development, which nominated her based on her service and contributions. Currently, she holds the position of Chairperson of the Board of Governors of the Cagayan Valley Association of Water Districts (CAVAWAD), Inc. Her unwavering dedication and commitment to public service have been pivotal in her reappointment.
