The Metropolitan Tuguegarao Water District (MTWD) completed a household survey aimed at assessing the availability and quality of water provided to customers-concessionaires across Tuguegarao City. Conducted from September 4 to 7, 2024, the survey engaged 380 out of 38,900 active connections randomly selected respondents from various barangays.
The Metropolitan Tuguegarao Water District (MTWD) has implemented disaster-resilient measures to ensure uninterrupted water supply in flood-prone areas, specifically in five of its critical pumping stations namely Linao East, Linao Norte 1 and 2, Annafunan West, and Annafunan East, which are located in low laying-areas of Tuguegarao City.
The MTWD management extends its sincere appreciation to the Philippine Red Cross Cagayan Chapter, led by its Chapter Administrator Ms. Aileen A. Torres, for the letter of gratitude given to MTWD for the support and assistance thru provision of safe and potable water to the communities affected by Typhoon Marce.
