The Metropolitan Tuguegarao Water District and the rest of the world celebrate the 2024 World Water Day with a theme “Water for Peace”. In order to generate more impact and in order to promote awareness on issues of water sanitation, conservation and preservation, a motorcade within Tuguegarao City was conducted today, March 22, 2024.

  Metropolitan Tuguegarao Water District (MTWD) joins the nation in celebrating Women’s Month with the theme “We for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society. On 08 March 2024, it conducted a simple programme to recognize the imperative role of women in the society in general and in MTWD in particular.

The Philippine Association of Water Districts (PAWD) recognized the hard work and dedication of Directors and General Managers of the Local Water Districts during its 45th National Convention on February 28-29, 2024 at the SMX Convention Center, Davao City.

The Metropolitan Tuguegarao Water District (MTWD) bags 3rd place in the 2023 PAWD Best Publication Awards organized by the Philippine Association of Water Districts (PAWD) which was joined by different Local Water Districts in the country.

The Metropolitan Tuguegarao Water District has been managing, operating and maintaining a watershed since 1996 as part of its mandate to source and distribute adequate water supply.
