As part of Metropolitan Tuguegarao Water District’s social responsibility, it again conducted its regular bloodletting activity on May 15, 2014 with the theme, “Give the gift that costs nothing to give”.

The MTWD conducts bloodletting activities twice a year in coordination and cooperation with the Cagayan Valley Medical Center Blood Service Zone. In the said activity, the Committee on Bloodletting invited other government agencies to take part in the activity. Members of the Committee prepared snacks and lunch for the donors. They made sure that the venue is conducive for the bloodletting and the donors are well attended. T-shirts and MTWD tumblers were also given to donors as token for their contribution in the said noble undertaking.

This one day activity was actively participated by 40 qualified donors of MTWD officers and employees and 25 walk-in donors from other government agencies and private individuals. It was indeed a successful life- saving activity for MTWD.
