Please be informed that the District will be implementing updated policy approved under Board Resolution No. 2024-05-092, “A Resolution Approving the Increase in the Deposit to Establish Credit Being Paid by the Customer-Concessionaires During Application for New Water Service Connections and/or Reconnection of Accounts Effective July 1, 2024”, to ensure the sustainable and efficient delivery of potable water among its consumers. The deposit to Establish Credit serves as guaranty on the payment of unpaid water bills of concessionaires after the water service supply is discontinued due to delinquency or voluntary request.
The fees and charges imposed by the District is in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 198, as amended, which provides that the Board is empowered to impose these fees, as it would be applied to the purpose indicated therein.
