The Philippine Association of Water Districts (PAWD) recognized the hard work and dedication of Directors and General Managers of the Local Water Districts during its 45th National Convention on February 28-29, 2024 at the SMX Convention Center, Davao City.

At this event, Dir. Fausta L. Tanguilan was awarded for her 25 years of dedicated service to the Metropolitan Tuguegarao Water District (MTWD). She has been instrumental in developing effective policies that have contributed to the further development of water services in Tuguegarao, Solana, and Piat, Cagayan.
Dir. Fausta L. Tanguilan is a Licensed Civil Engineer with proven track record of success in the industry and a philanthropist of several advocacies for community improvement.
She’s an active member of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. (PICE) and worked as a Private Practitioner for almost seven years. She also served as a Supervising Engineer at the National Housing Authority Regional Office and a Project Engineer at Carnation Corporation and Woodcrest North Subdivision. She was also a Consultant of Greenville Subdivision, and accredited by the National Water Resources Board (NWRB) as an Individual Expert in 2011.
Apart from her active involvement and contribution to the District, Dir. Tanguilan is also an active member of Tuguegarao Court No. 32, Order of the Amaranth from August 8, 2015 to present, working tirelessly to improve the lives of people in different communities.
Dir. Tanguilan has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1999 and currently serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Governors of the Cagayan Valley Association of Water Districts (CAVAWAD), Inc.
Indeed, the dedication and service rendered for the District do not go undistinguished.
