The Metropolitan Tuguegarao Water District hosted the Water Resources Facilities Operator’s Course on December 12-13, 2023 which shall continue until held at MTWD Building, 3rd floor, Audio Visual Room, Main Avenue, San Gabriel and is attended by pump operators from 24 water districts in the region.
Said activity aims to further capacitate the operators of water districts in the region of their roles and duties and hone them to become a competent and skilled vanguards in the water industry.
The Operator’s Course embodies series of lectures, site visit and hands on relating to motor control wiring.
In-house resource persons from MTWD lectured on series of topics relating to the functions of the participants as pump operators. Assistant General Manager for Technical Services and Operation Engr. Janice Cardenas, Engr. Michael Gonzaga, Mr. John Lloyd Quizzagan and Engr. Bryan Faith Tumanguil shared their insights and knowledge on the given topics.
This activity was spearheaded by the Cagayan Valley Association of Water Districts headed by Tumaini Water District General Manager and CAVAWAD President Justito Jimenez and officers.
MTWD General Manager and CAVAWAD Treasurer Engr. Miller C. Tanguilan, CESE also graced the activity as he delivered his welcome message to all participating operators from different water districts and put emphasis on the importance of learning current innovations specially in the realm of water operations.
